Life Lessons

This is a page to remind me of lessons I have learned in life, and to remind me of those I am still working on:

~When life sucks, tack up and ride. A horse will force you to see that anything outside of love, food and shelter is not a necessity.

~ Everyone else's problems are not for you to solve, and certainly not for you to waste time, effort and feelings on. Don't spend more time on someone else's issues than they are. There are only three people whose problems are worth that time, and two of those people share my DNA.

~ If you don't have 'nothin' good to say, say it only to your "bestest" friends as everyone else will love to tell on you.

~ Those that mean the most to you have the power to hurt you the most. Don't take it for granted that their love will keep them from doing so.

~ allow people to help you, because helping you may just give them an outlet for their feelings, fears, and help them feel helpful and needed. Maybe allowing help, is in fact being helpful.

Thank you for your Feedback! I learn so much from hearing from readers, it is the real value of writing a blog.
